Amarok is a colossal wolf from Inuit mythology, roaming the frozen wilderness far from human settlements. Unlike ordinary wolves that hunted in packs, Amarok was said to travel alone through the endless Arctic night, preying upon those foolish enough to wander isolated across the ice. Its howls echoed through blizzards and barren mountains like warnings from the spirit world itself. In many stories, Amarok embodied the brutal power of nature and the deadly solitude of the far northern wilderness.
