Jackalope

A horned trickster that darts through battle, bringing chaos and uncanny luck.

Creature Type Cryptid Trickster
Ability Elusive Trickster
Lore

The Jackalope bounds through American frontier folklore as a strange hybrid creature with the body of a jackrabbit and the antlers of a deer. Tales of the beast spread across the deserts and plains of the American West where travelers and hunters claimed to glimpse it darting through the brush before vanishing into the wilderness. Some stories described the Jackalope as playful and elusive, while others insisted it could perfectly mimic human voices beneath the moonlight. Though often treated as a tall tale of the frontier, the Jackalope became one of the most iconic creatures of American folklore.
