The Kuntilanak is a vengeful spirit from Indonesian and Malay folklore, often associated with women who died during childbirth or under tragic circumstances. Appearing in flowing white garments with long black hair and hollow eyes, the spirit was said to wander lonely roads, abandoned villages, and banana groves at night. Her laughter and cries could echo softly through the darkness before turning into terrifying screams as she approached. Legends warned that beneath her ghostly appearance hid a deadly force driven by grief, rage, and unfinished vengeance.
