Origin Native American Myth
Creature Type Spirit/Bird
Ability Storm Bringer
Lore

The Thunderbird is one of the most powerful beings in Native American mythology, revered across many Indigenous cultures of North America as a mighty spirit of the sky and storms. Said to dwell high among the clouds and mountain peaks, the Thunderbird could create thunder with the beating of its enormous wings and unleash lightning from its eyes. Some legends describe it as a protector of humanity and an enemy of dangerous spirits lurking beneath the earth and sea. During violent storms, many believed the Thunderbird was soaring overhead, its shadow passing across the world like a living force of nature.
